As you can see for yourself after the break, a type of platform allows you to take a distinctly Moog-like approach to the design of sources, with a bunch of good old phase.
Needless to say, apparently, the couple has no plans to produce more to sell, and this is one of the projects in which we are guessing a DIY guide would be of little use to anyone other than a very small typeface synthesizer lover fans. Microsoft has unveiled its new computing concept. Being able to use a computer on surfaces. Microsoft is dashing the boring old idea of a computer being stuck on a desk. Instead it envisions a future when ordinary surfaces such as tables, mirrors, and other surface will be computers. Microsoft Surface is quite an amazing concept. It all began with the idea of an interactive table back in 2001 - the idea of mixing the physical world with the virtual one.

Microsoft unveils tabletop ‘Milan’ computerMicrosoft unveils tabletop ‘Milan’ computer
Microsoft Corp. has chosen what it sees as the next generation in PC designs — a computer the size and shape of a coffee table with a flat, touch-screen display — as the third major product it has designed and is branding for the consumer electronics market.
The company today revealed its 5-year-old “Milan” project, a computer that uses wireless autosync and touch-screen technology to allow users and devices to interact with files and applications using a tabletop screen. The company designed and is branding the computer, as it did with consumer electronics products such as the Xbox game console and the Zune MP3 player.
To accompany Milan, Microsoft renamed a team within its Entertainment and Devices Division called New Consumer Products as “Surface Computing.” General Manager Pete Thompson leads the group, which has worked quietly in new projects to give computers and other devices more human interfaces.
Filed under: LaptopsWe’ve already heard Walt’s take on the Lenovo’s slim new X300, and even seen it splayed wide open, but if you still haven’t made up your mind you can now check out some benchmarks and plenty of video courtesy of NoteBook review. As you might expect, there’s not a lot of surprises on that former front, with the X300 trailing both the MacBook Air and Sony Vaio TZ in processor tests, but edging them both out quite handily in overall system performance (thanks in no small part to.
Likely of more interest is the ample supply of videos, which show off the X300 from every angle and compare it to the Thinkpad T61 and X61. Hit up the read link below to check out those. Read | Permalink | Email this | Comments.

NTT DoCoMo’s FOMA-based Videophone Alcohol Check System is one interesting application for any handset, but unfortunately we won’t be seeing it in action Stateside. The Videophone Alcohol Check System service enables bus and delivery companies to easily monitor drivers in the field at any time. Drivers blow into a breathalyzer connected to a handset and the alcohol concentration is transmitted to a computer at the head office.
Drivers blow into a breathalyzer connected to a handset and the alcohol concentration is transmitted to a computer at the head office. Inebriated drivers cannot have someone else take the test for them, because the person’s identity is confirmed via the videophone’s camera as they take the test. I wonder if thie system can be bypassed by an imposter using a life-sized portrait to trick the videophone’s camera.

The hard drive was replaced with a Compact Flash memory card, while the front white plastic has been removed, with an iVue clear panel replacing it so that the Bluetooth LED is able to shine through.
Giz reader Ed Hernández is at it again with his wireless audio iPod modifications. This time he hacked a fifth generation 30GB iPod video to include a Bluetooth module for audio output but, since the 30GB model is so thin, Ed had to do extra hacking. He told us his shopping list and some impressions, after the jump. To make space for the audio Bluetooth module he had to take out the hard drive to replace it with a Compact Flash.
Total cost of just the BT mod is only about $50 but if you break it down it would be like this:$50 BT module $30 Clear faceplate $35 Flash adapter $30-120 Flash card (depends on your budget)According to Ed, the “sound quality is very good, on par with an external module anyway. I use the Motorola S9 headphones and I am very satisfied. Not audiophile quality mind you, but more than adequate for the gym.

From pubs started being replaced by 'bars' it is increasingly difficult to buy a decent pint - and bottles of beer seem to be little more than gas and murderer of weeds. In the past it was equally horrific homemade, and much murkier, but thanks to some surprisingly bright beer produced at the Canadian home is now dangerously beautiful and easy to do.
The Beer Machine is simplicity itself to use, just add the beer mixture (made from 100% natural ingredients and delightfully free of all these horrible chemicals.), And in seven to ten days will have 17 pints of really excellent beer. It's fun, it's easy, and see what a great reward. (More…) Share it.
