SanDisk Sansa Fuze

Rumor has it that the next SanDisk Sansa device will be known as the Fuze, with whispers of a Sansa Fuze accessory package rolling out in the near future, making this whole rumor much more believable. The Sansa Fuze, should it materialize, will probably stand in the gap between the Sansa Clip and the Sansa View, and people are speculating that its size will be somewhat akin to the 3G iPod nano, taking a similar design cue as well.

Should the Sansa Fuze be in direct competition with the nano, it will probably ship with 8GB to 16GB of memory and include video playback. I guess it is best to wait for SanDisk to issue an official statement concerning the Fuze. Permalink | Comment | Uberbargain | Uberphones.

SanDisk FlashBack Adapter

The SanDisk FlashBack Adapter sounds like a device that comes in handy only when a catastrophe happens - it fits snugly into the ExpressCard slot of your notebook and will continue to back up and encrypt critial data onto an SD memory card automatically, ensuring that nothing gets lost in the unfortunate even where you accidentally spill some liquid all over your notebook.

With all the copying done running in the background, chances are you might experience a slight system slowdown whenever files are transferred. Each purchase of the SanDisk FlashBack Adapter comes with a two-year warranty, a mini-CD containing the backup software and a user’s guide. Shipping begins in Q2, as the FlashBack Adapter retails for $29.

SanDisk Prepping Sansa Fuze? [Leaks]

SanDisk may have a new PMP on the way. An accessory bundle for something called a Sansa Fuze was spotted on maker HandStands’ website earlier—currently the address redirects to generic Sansa accessories. The player pictured in the ad looks like competition for a 3G iPod nano, and will likely include 8-16GB of memory as well as video and radio playback.

SanDisk Cruzer Tag USB Flash Drives

Europe gets the SanDisk Cruzer Tag USB Flash Drives that will be available in 2GB, 4GB and 8GB capacities. While they perform rather admirably as a standard USB flash drive, what makes this batch stand out from the rest of the mediocre bunch would be its fashionable exterior. Each of these USB keys will ship with pre-loaded versions of Skype, McAfee Anti Virus and the SignupShield Password Manager.
