Float Away Laptop Concept

Float Away concept designer Young Hwan Kim focuses on the nightmare of mobile computing - the issue of heat. Its design is a very simple solution, and possibly come to light forehead with the palm of his hand thinking, "Why not now think that before?". All young people did was to raise the final part by the inclusion of an elevator into your design, allowing the heat to dissipate in the air while keeping cool despite their notebook running at full speed ahead.

As we all know, the cooler electronics term, the most effective way is the longest and will be able to last. Permalink | Commentary | Uberbargain | Uberphones.

MSI Wind Laptop to Make Eee PC Cry, “Eeek!” [UMPCs]

Order the latest participant in the 'race, the MSI wind, which lost at CeBIT earlier last week. Toting 10-inch display, Shelton'08 platform from Intel, with processor speeds of variable 1. 0GHz - 1. 6GHz; 2. 5 inches or SSD hard drive, 1GB of RAM, a reported 7-hour battery life and running either Linux or Windows operating systems, it seems MSI offer of the owner of a pile of promises.

The style is certainly a step up from the Eee PC, but perhaps Eee review body that we have heard before disposing of the new competition. The wind is expected to be priced at € 299 ($ 458) - € 699 ($ 1,072), depending on the options chosen. However, the considerable keyboard, the price and size of the display have decent our attention for sure. There is no word on a date yet, but we keep you informed.

GeCube Genie PC, Eee Clone with a Special Talent [Laptops]

It’s fair to call the GeCube an Asus Eee PC clone. With a 7″ screen, 2GB of flash storage, Linux backbone and that form factor, I mean, c’mon. The 2. 1lb computer does have two things going for it though. It has a splash proof keyboard and. . . what could the special talent be? (We have a neat picture. . . )OMG ITS HEAD POPPED OFF! We kid, the screen can be detached from the keyboard but retains full computer functionality.

. . what could the special talent be? (We have a neat picture. . . )OMG ITS HEAD POPPED OFF! We kid, the screen can be detached from the keyboard but retains full computer functionality. Now if the GeCube had combined that idea with a touchscreen, many of us would be pretty excited right now. Instead, the GeCube uses a trackpad on the back side (identical to the one on the keyboard).

Swiftpoint SLIDER takes a new approach to laptop mousing

When I’m using my laptop for any length of time I grow tired of using the trackpad. I almost always keep a travel mouse with me, which is a good alternative, however, if you don’t have a good mousing surface you may want to look into this Swiftpoint SLIDER. This tiny gadget is actually a mouse, or at least that’s the closest thing I can compare it to.

While this certainly seems like an interesting product, we don’t have any word on pricing or availability. I’m hoping that it is relatively inexpensive as it’s small enough that I would likely misplace it with great ease. Source: CrunchGear Gift Ideas: The Coolest Gadgets Gift Guides. MSI Anion PR620 Notebook and Air Purifer

If you happen to work in a smelly place, this is for you: MSI claims that this laptop will also purify the air, very much like a normal air purifier, using ions. The idea is funny, but I guess that in some smoke-filled regions (like Asia?), customers are so desperate that they might drop a few more bucks to breathe a slightly better air. So does it work? I honestly don’t know, but MSI has some nerves to come out with this.

Asus Eco Book Notebook with a Bamboo Shell

After months of testing (and showing), the Asus eco-book has finally been launched at Cebit. Green is a big cash-cow right now and every company seems to find a way to say that they are somewhat greener. Asus’s argument is that they are using less plastic, thanks to the partial bamboo casing of this Eco Notebook. Asus thinks that Bamboo is the best thing ever, while IBM says “green IT is hype”, what is your take?Permalink | Comment | Uberbargain | Uberphones.

DreamCom 10 Laptop

The portable DreamCom 10 is definitely different from the rest appearing on the market today, as the main selling point is the ability to be molded to the best ergonomic form factor, which is different for every person. The keyboard can be moved backwards and forwards, along with the ability to tilt rather than flat. Heck, even the monitor can be adjusted to slide up and down, offering users with different zoom levels to adapt to different heights.

Apart from all the shuffling happens, DreamCom also 10 packs a good punch with a 2. 6GHz processor, up to 4 GB of memory, 15. 4 "monitor, and UMTS / HSDPA support. It is powered by Windows Vista. There is no word on pricing or availability, and I wonder if there is a need for everyone who depends on oil occasionally. Standing | Comments | Uberbargain | Uberphones.
