High end gaming on a PC can potentially cost you an arm and a leg, and Dell aims to bring a balance with the new XPS 630. Dell wanted to bring its gaming platform down from the $2000 and up arena, and into something average gamers can go and buy, so it’s rolling out the previously teased XPS 630. For build-to-order you start at $1249 and a pre-fab $1299 edition comes with an Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 and dual NVIDIA GeForce 8800 GT 512MB graphics cards with SLI technology.
But the expansion possibilities in the standard ATX chassis include overclockable Corsair Dominator memory and Intel Extreme processors, up to three factory installed HDDs (with a fourth bay for your own tinkering) and an optional AGEIA PhysX accelerator. In other words, reading the fine print, it sounds like no one is going to be satisfied with the base config—even though it will come with pretty LED lighting zones that synchronize with game play.
The fact that stores everywhere, including Sony’s own SonyStyle, were dropping the 80GB seemed to point to a conclusion that the 80GB was on its way out. Not exactly. As we found out today, the 80GB version is going to be back on June 12, but it’s going to be packed with a copy of Metal Gear Solid 4 and a DualShock 3 controller. An evil Necromancer which resides at the Throne of Sharenian Castle. It can summon Gargoyles, Mist Knights and has a lightning attack that can bring your HP and MP to 1. It also can use its mini reapers to do 3700 damage at the spots its summoned at (Notified by a skull on the ground), has a 1500 fire attack, a Darkness and Seal skill, and has a healing skill which heals the Statues and itself. It is supported with two Lion Statues and two Knight Statues each with their own skills which makes this boss challenging for low levels.
Lion Statue A has 1m HP. Lion Statue B has 800k HP.

Its a command and conquer: generals, its not real tanks,
there wasnt any stratagy used at all, we each built just enough to be able to build tanks then used all the resources on the map just to make as many tanks as possible then we were going to have them all go and fight in the middle, but my brothers comp got disconnected from the game so his tanks just sat there, it would have been alot more interesting if sets of tanks rushed to the middle…oh well, this is my second most commented video and just about everyone says the same thing.

Laffer25- what do you think of the Virtual Console for the Wii, more specifically how they put all that DRM in the games tying them to your console? I mean if your console breaks, I’m sure Nintendo will help you get the games on another console but when the Wii is no longer supported or say in 10 years if Nintendo no longer exists (you never know), what will happen then to all the games you’ve bought? Another question I have is how do you feel modern games stand up to the classics of the past? Personally I feel that a lot of the originality and creativity is gone.. of course games are a lot more expensive to make these days and they can’t afford to take the kind of risks they did in the old days. Also, have you ever owned or played on an old computer like the C64 or Amiga? If so, what do you think of games for old computers? I loved using joysticks and I still do. would you be willing to fire up an emulator and try some that way someday?

EA golf game from 1987 on the Amiga, runs on 512k. Was number one in the USA. I was more of a “World Class Leaderboard” fan on the C64. 20 years on and things are only now changing with thumb stick swing and the Wii controller, oh and the graphics are a little better today. : )

Whatever the case may be, the Korean company has applied for another iteration of device, this time taking a more modular approach to the layout of buttons and screen.
In this new configuration, a RAZR-like clamshell would actually house a swiveling screen which allows the unit to flip open, thus placing the display squarely between two “wings. ” The resulting arrangement would be a symmetrical device that would encourage a more familiar hand position for gamers. Of course, like those other designs, these are just images on paper — though it does spark the imagination considerably.
