Filed under: Features, Notebooks all knew this day was coming. Apple MacBook Pro previous revision was undoubtedly getting long in the tooth, a MacBook specification bump never hurt anything, and hey, Penryn is not getting any younger. Still, it's pretty obvious that some of the Apple faithful feel MacBook Pro and its cute little sidekick MacBooks are in some serious need of a refresher form factor, and perhaps a bit of SSD.

We can understand that Apple does not want to steal the thunder MacBook Air, and to be fair most of the major manufacturers put the new chips within the current Penryn form factors, but that does not mean that it was wrong for you to be upset.
