Toshiba intros 80GB, 120GB 1.8-inch hard drives

Filed under: StorageHot on the heels of a pair of habitability 2. 5-inchers Toshiba comes with a duo of smaller units, even likely intended for PMPs and cereal boxes in the future. The 120GB MK1216GSG and 80 GB MK8016GSG are both designed to last SATA 2. 6 specification, and also the role of micro-connector SATA. In addition, the 5400 RPM units weight only 62 grams each and feature 8 MB cache and a 489 Mbits / sec data transfer rate.
