Fighting Back Against Gadget Companies - Nokia Edition [Fight Back]
|
Which is what most of us do when we are repeatedly yanked around gadget by companies who refuse to correct completely electronics? Most often give up, resign ourselves to the fact that we are not getting anywhere, and finally, just buy a new player phone/mp3 / toaster to replace the defective unit. This man in Singapore refused to take this route when Nokia essentially ignored his complaint with the repair, and took matters into their own hands using their version of the small claims court. This was what I thought, but I was wrong. If you have a hard time getting the company to repair your gadget even after going through official channels, try small claims court. We are not sure what the exact amount maximum dollar is that you can claim it (is different for each zone?), But a bit of research and should be able to find out. |
