DIY IR headgear repels security cameras, attracts “security”

Filed under: Misc. GadgetsIt is not the first method we have seen for the blinding security cameras, but this new DIY / art project for the people of Oberwelt e. V. Looks to be one of the simplest and one of the few that could be used on a daily basis. The so-called I-R. ASC ( "infra-redlight against surveillance camera"), the device apparently is simply a series of infrared lights connected to a battery, which combine to stain his face with a glow slightly nervous.

Needless to say, although it appears that quite effectively conceal his identity, not exactly scream subtlety, so I get some excuses to explain his plan, if in fact this thing in trying to public. [Via More Extras] Read | Permalink | Mail | Comments.
