Bye Bye JPEG. Hello HD Photo

Microsoft has announced that the JPEG’s image format days are over. Ushered in is a new file format fit for gadgets and devices that feature HD everything. Microsoft’s new file format, HD Photo, has a higher quality, and is preserved longer than the JPEG. The HD Photo also can compress itself 200% better than the JPEG [. . . ].
