Battlefield Live - Ambush & Avoiding Hits

Tactics and strategy for first person shooters - ideal also for airsoft guns and paintball games especially the squad drills.
Ambush
If you are able to ambush a group of enemy players, especially at close range, you need to take into account that the sensors only take hits once every second. Also, to do maximum damage you need to rotate the targets so that you hit each player prior to reaction, and planning fire patterns before engaging the enemy can ensure maximum effect. What I do is delegate fire patterns depending on positioning. Simply, those soldiers occupying positions on the outermost flanks of the ambushing party will begin firing from their sides inward, and others concentrate fire in their forward line-of-sight.

Of course the enemy should be hitting cover, once they can effectively return fire you should quickly retreat so you live long enough to setup another ambush position. This displacing after ambush is essential when facing skilled enemy, because they will advance quickly outside the “kill-zone” to disrupt and confuse the ambush.

Avoiding hits

Usually the best way not to be hit, in Battlefield LIVE, paintball and airsoft, is to not be seen! If you move carefully and are constantly looking around and listening, you can often spot the enemy before they spot you. The human eye is attracted to movement, so if you stop and hide before the enemy has spotted you, they will typically not see you. Looking around (including behind) you is a good skill to get, new players tend to look at the ground in front of them or look forward to where they expect the enemy to be. The enemy however is often not where you expect, so if you have to expect the unexpected. Keep looking and listening all the time and stay alert!

If you do come under fire, you probably should be seeking cover. The best cover is often vertical oriented objects such as trees. The bigger the tree trunk the more angles it cuts off and therefore better cover. Any physical cover counts as cover, so also consider the ‘nomenclature’ or texture of the terrain. Often, the rise and fall of the surrounding terrain can offer the best lanes for movement, and also the best cover from enemy view. Once the enemy knows where you are, you should try to move as soon as you’re not pinned, sometimes you have to be brave. You never want to be where the enemy expects or knows you to be. Often, displacing and approaching the enemy from another direction works well.

????”??”???? Japanese Lute “Heike Monogatari”????”??”???? Japanese Lute “Heike Monogatari”
Nobuko Kawashima’s biwa blues, 12th century myth, “Heike Monogatari”, Japanese Midland story

In raining Yanaka district, the old town Tokyo, the sound from a hundred years old tranquil house led me to the “Yanaka Biwa, Japanese lute, style” concert. One lady of austere wearing kimono was sitting silence, with her eyes close. Pine floor was filled with the greenry incent and people who waited for Nobuko Kawashima’s luring tour to Edo lute dream.

Nobuko Kawashima, one of the precious Japanese lute player, has a concert every two month in Yanaka. She said, “Yanaka is the best place to listen biwa play. So I want people to enjoy not only music but this atmosphere down here” She has started “Yanaka Biwa Style” concert two years ago. “Yanaka has still friendly community where neighbors knows and give a help if you need” She thinks that this ambient area life has a good effect on her expression.

Biwa play reminds of the blues shouting at the corner of down the south French Quarter, New Orleans. Like Muddy Waters play, Ms. Kawashima inspired us of her deep voice as well as lute’s sound. Her growling hoarse maintained the astonished red wine fregrance. The sound of picking strings and banging lute body with her alt voice waives the meticulous persian carpet.

The Japanese lute, biwa, was introduced here after the long journey on the Silk road. A dry blue sky with the cow bell ringing can imagin in the biwa sound she pulled. Yanaka Biwa Style trace back the mother culture of Japan, spinning new blues style.

Oh, mama, you can’t end the Yanaka Blues again. Liberize prowling to stuck inside a bustling mobile.

Don’t miss a great opportunity for the refuge of bustle. Yanaka Biwa Blues @SEEDS Tokyo Impact on Dec. 9th. see this blog for more info.

Psychic Energy Blockages, Guru, Meditation + Gurus - 1 of 9Psychic Energy Blockages, Guru, Meditation + Gurus - 1 of 9
If you want to learn meditation you need to work with someone who knows meditation: a Guru. Sometimes we need Gurus in our lives.

Trying to learn meditation from a book is like trying to learn how to play the piano from a book! Gurus are necessary to learn meditation.

Meditation is 24 hours a day.

You start with Sitting, then Breathing or Pranayama and this is the base of the Pyramid of Meditation.

Bad Sitting = Bad Meditation

Bad Breathing = Bad Meditation (Not enough energy)

Meditation is the Peak of the Pyramid

Swami Satchidanand here is giving the first part of nine parts of a talk about Psychic Energy Blockages. If you want to watch the full nine parts of the talk ON Meditation and Gurus, go to:

2. The Antahkarana Tower, rainbow bridge, which stretches from the center of the earth through every human being through all the chakras and upwards through chakras outside the body into the center of the Universe. A Connection between heaven and Earth.
3. Psychic Energy Blockages which block your connections between your chakras and between you and other people. Psychic Energy Blockages create disease in the Body, Negative Emotions and perverted thoughts.

Boxer’s Bunker Rush x3Boxer’s Bunker Rush x3
2004-11-12, Ever OSL Semi-Finals Bo5, SlayerS_`BoxeR` vs [NC]YellOw

This upload is for BoxerForEver, I joined all 3 games into one video.

3 times in a row, Boxer bunker-rushed YellOw and finished off the Semi-finals in less than half an hour. His simple yet very strong rushes did not give YellOw a single chance to counteract. The games later caused a huge debate among Starcraft fans all over the internet about Boxer’s TvZ imbalance.

Personally my heart went for Yellow when I watched those VODs back in 2004, what you need to understand is how amazingly tough is the road to OSL semi-finals, both players had to beat so many top progamers in games to reach this far, and to end it so fast and decisive was too cruel. Look at Boxer’s face after its all over- not even a smile, he knows exactly how much that hurt his rival and friend… but thats Boxer for you, fact is that no one else tries this kind of stuff in such important games that matter so much, Bunker rushes became insanely more ‘popular’ after this matchup.

Manifesto from TL wrote about this matchup:

“Maps dont matter, starting positions dont matter. It was all the same.

Boxer rax, depot, 6 scv + 2 marine rush, Yellow 12 hatch evertime, gg x3. In only one game did Yellow even get a unit other than a drone, overlord, or zergling.

The rush by Boxer was perfect. His timing was such that unless Yellow went pool first, there was no way he could stop this rush. Boxer said after he wanted to play an low economy control based game, but instead he just won.”

Persona 3- Homunculus BugPersona 3- Homunculus Bug
Here’s a helpful bug in the game that gives you 99 Homunculus. Whether it’s cheating or not is up to the individual player…but I personally don’t have the time to farm the materials to create all these Homunculi normally.

Here’s an explanation of how to get this trick to work, courtesy of penguin_knight from Gamefaqs:

“1. Get at least one Homunculus, remember how many you have.
2. Go to fight the Cowardly Maya, use mahama or mahamudo [any all-target instant death spell] on a group of them, your Homunculus will decrease by the number of Maya you’re fighting with.
3. Repeat 2 until your Homunculus became negative (but don’t check it through Item Screen, the game will freeze, that’s why you need to remember how many you have).
4. When in this “negative Homunculus” status, collect one Homunculus (from antique store or chest), your Homunculus will jump to 99.

Finally, do all the above on a backup save data, no one knows what would be the negative consequence.”
