Levitating Joystick Controls Computer
We all know the mouse and keyboard, but how is open to a new way to control your computer? How about using a computer controller levitated by magnets wing Maglev? This system seems to have more advantages over standard mechanical tactile controllers, where the computer will stimulate the user interface of the sense of touch. Ralph Hollis and colleagues at Carnegie Mellon University have developed this device háptico with only one moving part, where a bowl with electromagnets is hidden beneath in. The magnet will exert the necessary forces on the bar, which simulates the resistance of a weight or an area of resistance or friction. I assume that the games will benefit most from this system - only if a commercial launch occurs. Permalink | Commentary | Uberbargain | Uberphones. |
