I remember the early days of game where the graphics are much more important than sound, and as time progressed, this thing called sound cards took the world by surprise. It was pure joy to listen to the sounds of lasers my X-Wing out of the cleanup of a TIE Fighter, and 8-bit audio evolved to the 16-bit, 32-bit, and finally the sound of 64 bits. Now we have that high-end sound cards, letters of yesteryear look and sound absolutely pathetic.
