MacBook Air Selling Like Extremely Expensive Hotcakes? [Apple]

Apparently, the MacBook Air is selling well enough to not be available at many stores and require 5-7 days of waiting for orders online. Despite the high price, the super-thin notebook is often the day of the sale of a shipment arrives at an Apple Store, according to research conducted by Ars Technica. Of course, without knowing how many Airs MacBook Apple is manufacturing, this could just as easily be a case of the apple not make too many in the first place, which makes the demand seems bigger than it really is.
