Researchers creating flexible fin to make AUVs more agile

Filed under: Transportation If a wave of déjà vu just hit you like a ton of bricks, not disturbing, because it certainly is not the first (or second) time we will have news of researchers who seek to create more intelligent seas Lean and submersibles. Some have reached more people involved, as gurus Drexel, MIT, Harvard and George Washington are now working together to develop a "fish - like to make autonomous underwater vehicles (AUVs) more agile.

"Apparently, the current iteration has improved over previous versions by eliminating drag during part of the" cut and sweeping "motion. The general idea is to combine several of the fins in order to "allow the robotic submarines to place and activate a penny as Nadadores can naturally", but the easiest thing is still quite some time before such devices can be overcome ocean currents and the unwillingness of the sea creatures.
