Intel Core 2 Duo E8500 Wolfdale Processor Tested (Verdict: “Recommended”) [Processors]

The chapters in more than Hot Hardware have the Intel Core 2 Duo processor E8500, which belongs to the (45nm) Wolfdale line, through their steps, and certainly were impressed. Since its extensive testing, the processor does not seem to make any major changes in terms of architecture, however, the minor adjustments had a significant effect on overall performance. The 6MB of L2 cache to speed an impressive momentum, while energy consumption and heat production levels both fell.

The chip is likely to be in retailing + $ 300 mark and that seems to be the only drawback that is a little on the steep side. Separately, the Hot Hardware fellows were willing to take the Core 2 Duo E8500 of the highly coveted "Recommended" badge, and if the test results ring true not agree.
